Assistant Professor · Biomedical Engineering ·
L. D. College of Engineering, Ahmedabad
I work at the intersection of biomedical engineering, AI,
biomechanics, and medical imaging, developing intelligent
systems for Medical Device development, clinical diagnostics,
and assistive healthcare. My research focuses on translating
machine learning innovations into practical tools that enhance
decision-making and improve patient outcomes.
Working at the intersection of biomedical engineering, AI, biomechanics,
and medical imaging, focusing on intelligent diagnostic systems,
assistive technologies, and clinically meaningful imaging solutions.
My interests include brain tumor segmentation, non-invasive vital-sign
monitoring, optical and digital sensing, and affordable, standards-aligned
medical devices. I aim to create engineering innovations that enhance
clinical decision-making, accessibility, and patient safety—through
AI-driven imaging workflows, translational prototypes, and mentoring
high-impact teams. Ultimately, I strive to advance equitable, reliable
healthcare technologies that can be deployed in real-world settings and
help shape future standards and policy.
